Our story
TranslationsPress was born out of a simple observation: there was no professional translation hosting system for WordPress using 100% of the power of the CMS.

Why use, develop external translation solutions when dedicated solutions exist. That’s why we first developed for WP-Translationsâ clients and our own but today itâs time to offer it to the whole WordPress community, TranslationsPress is a fork of already existing solutions (GlotPress) and is inspired by what already exists on WordPress.org,, a 100% WordPress solution, solid and affordable for all companies, WordPress developers willing to reach as many users as possible with their Pro products.

At a time when WordPress powers 40% of the web and WordPress.org is advocating the democratization of publishing, we believe that it must also be done through translation and this via an easy to use platform for its clients and translators, hence TranslationsPress. We use TranslationsPress on a daily basis and are constantly developing it. Why develop, depend on external hosting solutions such as Transifex or⊠or reinvent the wheel and develop a functional and fixed solution such as translate.yoast. that nobody can benefit from? Together we are stronger.
A big dream, from WP-translations to TranslationsPress
On a more personal level, TranslationsPress is the realization and continuation of my dream on which I have been working since 2012, 8 years already when I simply started to participate to the French translation of WordPress⊠Meeting and collaborating with JĂ©rĂŽme in 2017 and the creation of WP-Translations, the first and only translation company entirely dedicated to WordPress translation, which today with a team of over 40 translators, all from the WordPress polyglot community, translate our clientsâ WordPress extensions and themes into over 25 languages.
